Wow, this one ends with a cliffhanger!
After two weeks of deprivation and mind games all Harley wants to do is get far away from Clay and back to her son, Jasper. But in order for that to happen one of them must break. And Harley refuses to let it be her. As Clay begins to realize how far she'll go to protect her son, he has to admit that she's not the woman she was 6 years ago and maybe there's a chance she's changed her ways.
Just when it seems like things might be looking better between Clay and Harley, things take an abrupt turn for the worse. After agreeing that Jasper's safety is the most important thing, Clay and Harley come to a type of truce where they will both (cautiously) move forward with another and try to forgive each other for their past mistakes.
But after a passionate night with Clay, Harley wakes up alone to find that her enemies have closed in on her and Clay and her son are nowhere to be found.

What a way to start a series! Harley first showed up in the Bought by the Billionaire series. To be honest, I didn’t like her much. But I have to admit I am fascinated by her.
Harley and Clay are such well-matched foes! And there is so much passion between them. Whether it’s hate or lust, our two main characters are on fire together. This suspenseful story is just getting started and has a cliffhanger that will leave you begging for more.
