I did not like the AI voice. It was awful. I loved the story though. I hope the next one has real voices.

The AI was awful

Love the family relationship that the friends created. Too bad the narration was sooo bad that it lost the authenticity of the urban dialogue. But great storyline.

Book didn’t disappoint. Loved every minute of it EXCEPT virtual voice. There was no emotion being displayed so I had to imagine how each interaction truly would sound. Story was great!

I truly enjoyed book one; it really captured my interest and kept me engaged. However, I found that books two and three felt a bit stretched and could have been combined into one. Rhea and Fizz were challenging characters for me; Rhea's childishness and Fizz’s disrespectful behavior were a bit frustrating at times. I really appreciated the focus on Dozer and DD, though; I love their dynamic as a couple, and I believe they deserve their own story. I think Killa could also benefit from some backstory to round out his character. I really enjoyed the bond between the siblings and their mother, and Nasir and Nikki also had moments that kept me intrigued. The plot twist with Desmond at the end was a nice surprise! However, I did find the virtual voice a bit distracting and felt it took away from the overall experience for me. That’s just my honest perspective, and I hope it’s helpful.

The entire series was amazing. I 100% did not like the virtual voice in book 3. The words weren't right and there was minimal emotion in the story.

I loved this series. Book 1 and 2 was very good. Book 3 was good, there needs to be a book 4. I wish the ending could have been insightful. They need a story Lìe on Nazir.

Good read
