I want more!

This story was a terrible and wonderful introduction to this world. Aryn's life has been rough, but she is known for killing dragons. However, after one terrible dragon attack in which an entire town is burned and her brother goes missing, Aryn begins to learn that there may be things more dangerous than a dragon.

The narrator did a good job, pulling me into the story so that I was feeling the stress and pain Aryn feels right alongside her. I do hope the author continues writing stories in this world. I would love to read/listen to a full-length story about Aryn and her new friends. Or a story in another world.

Please give us more!

I would love this series! In less than an hour this author built a live triangle, a world of dangerous dragons, a heroine with powerful love and loyalty to her family, and elves. I would read this. Please write it! I love your voice!

It’s incomplete... Is this just an intro?!

After finishing this, it was sort of revealed that there’s more to come - supposedly. But after perusing Goodreads for its supposed series, there was none.
I don’t know what happened here, since to me it’s actually a good intro to an interesting world and an interesting character.
But if this is it? I felt robbed of a possible good story with DRAGONS in it. Because, yes, I do love stories with dragons.

Imteresting world building.

This story introduces you to a world plagued by dragons, and specifically a girl who just cant seem to escape them. There's quite the cliffhanger at the end, which deducts a star for me, but as the sister of the author I know the world will continue, even if this specific story might not. I also really enjoyed the reader's interpretation of voices and characters. All in all, a great short story to enjoy if you can get past the cliffhanger ending with no sign of a sequel.

Not my cup of tea

First, the narrator doesn’t do any male voices so you really have to pay attention to know who’s talking. Second, I love stories with strong female heroines even when they’re a bit flawed from just being human, this is not a strong female, I’m not sure how she’s alive for another book, everytime something happens she blacks out and has to be rescued or nursed back to help

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read

The heroine is a textbook Mary Sue; the dialogue is atrocious; the very thin plot reads like a 12 year old's school assignment; the only redeeming quality was that this was short.

The narrator was bad but not the worst I've heard.
