Flyover County is the story of the Weber family, who have been dealt a difficult hand.

After Bill loses his business and June is forced to become a working mom, they make the decision to move their family from the big city suburbs to rural South Dakota.

What follows is an entertaining, heartfelt journey of culture shock, humor, and learning to embrace a different life.

Join the Weber family as they come face-to-face with the realities of small-town life and discover the honest values and friendly people that make Flyover County a special place.

If you enjoyed the charming stories of rural life in Growing Season by Melanie Lageschulte, you'll be sure to love Flyover County.

Broken into easy-to-read chapters, this light-hearted novel will keep readers coming back for more.

The honesty and the love of the people of South Dakota. The sound book of things I remember in the past.

An America of the past

I liked the characters and cheerful story lines. The book overdid details, which made it overlong and boring it parts. The narration was a big distraction. AI narration leaves a lot to be desired. Stilted speech patterns, awkward dialogue and mispronounced words were annoying and sometimes even funny. This detracted from the book.

A positive look at life in middle America.
