I’ve always been into crime shows but had no clue what was real or totally made up. This audiobook broke it all down in a way that actually made sense no confusing terms or textbook boredom. I finally get how stuff like fingerprints and DNA analysis really work. It made me even more curious about forensics, but in a good way, not an overwhelmed way. If you’re just starting out or just plain curious, this one’s a solid pick.

Forensic Science was a subject of interest to me and I knew it was detail but I was unaware of its extent. This audiobook makes the subject clear to understand. It makes very clear distinctions as to how this science is presented in entrainment vs real in life. I understand now how easily proper of improper handling of evidence can put the right, wrong or innocent person in jail. As accurate the branch in requires an extreme amount of detail in evidence being collected and handled. I the different methods of identifying evidence ranging from DNA samples, to bone and blood samples where interesting. The real life examples used presented of well known murder cases brought the subject to life. If you are considering the possibility of going into ti field or simply want to know more about it, this is a good book to read.
