About this listen
Hunter 'Alpo' Petersen couldn’t believe his world was turning upside down before his very eyes! He should be out with all the pretty women, the bar bunnies, and models—not grounded with a tomboy in coveralls hefting a torque wrench. Barely surviving brutal landing, he’s stranded with the most bewildering female who won’t quit talking–Glory. She grates on his last nerve, has to be right about everything, and just when he can’t take anymore… she refuses to kiss him!
A chance she never dreamed of…
Glory Madison had the biggest, stupidest crush on Hunter for as long as she could remember. He was gorgeous, incredibly witty, and had this enchanting smirk that drove her nuts. He was the primary reason she went into aviation… well, sort of!
When Glory takes advantage of an unexpected opportunity, it puts her directly in the crosshairs of the man she adores and straight on a crash course into his heart.

Cute story again but not 5 ⭐️
I’m a firm believer that you were going to use an existing institution and take true facts about an organization for stories you need to make sure to do your homework. I can’t understand why these guys are still first lieutenants. The majority of pilots are Captains and Majors. To become a pilot in the Air Force you have to commit to a certain number of years typically 10 years there’s no way so many of them would be able to resign their commissions or be up for renewal and still be first lieutenants.
This is from the Air Force FAQ “How long does it take Air Force Officers to move up the ranks?
You will have regular opportunities for advancement. For Air Force Officers, the promotion timeline looks like this::
Time-in-grade requirements
* Second Lieutenant (O-1): Eligible for promotion to First Lieutenant (O-2) after 24 months time-in-grade.
* First Lieutenant (O-2): Eligible for promotion to Captain (O-3) after 24 months time-in-grade.
* O3 through O5: Eligible for promotion after 3 years time-in-grade.
* O6 through O7: Eligible for promotion after 1 year time-in-grade.
Promotion to Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) and beyond is based on competitive selections and programs.”
“If you are not selected for promotion multiple times, it significantly increases the likelihood of facing a Selective Continuation Board. What does it mean to face a "Selective Continuation Board" where your continued service is evaluated, and if not selected, you may be required to separate from the military at your current rank, meaning you will not be promoted further and could eventually be discharged depending on your service time and eligibility for retirement”
This is very basic information so I don’t think the author did her homework on how ranks work in the Air Force 🤷♀️ Key points about Air Force pilot service:
* 10-year commitment: This is the standard service obligation for pilots after finishing flight school.
* Officer status: Air Force pilots are commissioned as officers.
* Training period: The service commitment begins after completing Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT).
