Publisher's summary

Meet Clara, reluctant spell caster and former member of the Texas Lycan pack. She fled the pack in fear in the 1970s. In the 30 years that pass, she never fully reclaims her life. It takes a loving family and a Christmas visit to give her the courage to open her heart.

Set within Kate Baray's Lost Library world, "Forgiveness" reveals in part the journey the Texas pack takes before arriving on Lizzie Smith's doorstep in book one of the series.

This short story is a prequel to Lost Library, the first full-length novel in the series, and takes place after "Rage", the first short story in the Lost Library series.

brief and basic

I did not enjoy this as much as the others - not enough content and substance

Any additional comments?

Good story with a gentle message about forgiving ourselves.
This is part of the Lost Library series and does answer some questions from the first book.....saying that, this is still a stand alone story with a beginning and ending . The Heroine is believe-able, understandable and like-able and I love the relationship between the two sisters. This story is like a little look into their lives when they reconnect with each other.....and it's a very nice look. There's a little bit of Christmas here that is sweet but not a total Christmas story. There's forgiveness both between them and of them selves.,that makes for a good feeling story.
I was a little disconcerted with a male narrator when the two main characters are women, but he still did a good job.

This was a good read and now it's a good listen.

kind of bad

The narrator was truly awful and though I like the author, this story seemed not well thought out and weak.
