About this listen

Tragedy, amnesia, and romance take center stage in this western tale of family feuds. The Dikkons and the Quinces have always been mortal enemies. Now, Barney Quince is the soul survivor of his clan, and he is determined to pay the Dikkons back for the wrongs done to his family. But after falling off his horse, he loses his memory and common sense, finding himself at the mercy of his enemies. The Dikkons are faced with the problem that they can't harm this enemy who can now do them no harm. Their moral dilemma is deepened when a romance blossoms between Barney and Louise Dikkons.©1927 by Street and Smith Publications, Inc.; 1955 by the Estate of Frederick Faust (P)1993 Audio Renaissance Fiction Westerns

One of Brand’s best

Barry Corbin is perfect for this story. Very unique and very well told story. Brand was top notch here. One of the best brand short stories ever. I have listened to this book over 30 times in my life so far. This is a keeper.
