About this listen

Jessica Haydn loves her life. She moved to London, the city of her dreams, and she's working hard to prove herself at her new job. Dating isn't on her radar, and a certain irresistible Brit with too much swagger isn't her type anyway...or so she keeps telling herself. He's ridiculously hot, with that irresistible smile and those custom-made suits. She should stay away from him. Only he wants her just as much as she wants him....

Parker Blakesley is a powerful businessman. With a company to save, he has no time for distractions. But he can't get Jessica out of his mind. She has a body made for sin, making him want to explore every inch of her. Her laughter and inner light fills a void inside of him, making him long for her love.

Contains mature themes.

Good story about friend Jess and cousin Parker

Parker’s accent needed a bit of work but other than that this was a fast sexy storyline. Jessica is fun loving and a bit quirky but as a recent grad she matures throughout the book. Parker is presented as a bit judgmental but he grows to appreciate Jess. Both characters learn from the “sins” of their past though both could probably benefit from a bit of counseling given that they each have an emotionally abusive parent. This would have been a good choice for the Escape Package or a sale choice or if the series and been packaged as large book for a credit but otherwise while it was nice escapist fiction am not sure it is worth the credit. Thankfully these books relate in the trilogy but are stand alones

A hit for sure

Finally, very little resistance to loving each other a very little angst. But lots of character in the characters. Loved it.

Narrators

The male narrator or was horrible. The story had to much one sided reflection. Not enough dialogue between the main characters. I could not get past chapter 5.

Hard to follow

It must be a slow start I started to zone out and the British accents were awful.
