About this listen
Adeline Virginia Woolf (January 1882-1941) was an English writer and one of the preeminent modernists of the 20th century. Her stories often appear as streams of consciousness as the writer's attention is drawn by things around her, memories and insights which bubble up in her brain and interruptions from the outside world.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would recommend the book, yes, but not through Audible u sing this narrator. I sampled the voice prior to purchase and even though it grated on me a bit, I still purchased because I love Virginia Woolf stories. Virginia Woolf's style is so bold for her generation and I love how that is reflected in this group of short stories by her.Would you be willing to try another one of Cathy Dobson’s performances?
I definitely would not. Her voice was harsh and almost hateful. I couldn't continue this book past the first story due to her voice becoming so annoying.I Love Virginia Woolf, But I Not The Narrator
