About this listen

Truth's burning desire for money and power made him dimly aware of what's to come. He strives to uphold the streets code of ethics, while continuing to build his drug empire. While cementing his position in the streets Truth believes the sky is the limit. He invests a portion of his drug money into a record label with his brother Future, in hopes of having a exit plan down the road.
From the outside looking in, everything seemed to be going in Truth’s favor, until the unexpected happens. After an attempt to extort Jazzie, which backfires, Boss finds himself in a complex situation. Jazzie gets her revenge by emasculating Boss and taping it to ensure he doesn't try to retaliate.
To make matters worse, Boss finds himself in a federal holding cell, and is forced to choose between saving himself or snitching on Truth.
Oblivious to his inner circle adversities,Truth continues to run his bag up. After taking the stand on a Milwaukee Police Det. Jazzie's ex, Law is released from prison and coerced her to rob Truth. Jazzie's love for Law ultimately overcomes her loyalty to Truth. With her back against the wall, Jazzie knows she has to move quick and precise or it may lead to her demise.
Worried about his brother's well being, Future presses Truth to leave Milwaukee and move to Atlanta and quit the dope game. Being the stubborn person that he is, Truth listens to Future, but his bond to the streets is too strong.
Like the saying goes, "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemy. It comes from friends and loved ones."
