About this listen
From Zarahemla to Cumorah: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Challenges is the powerful conclusion to a transformative trilogy exploring the rise and fall of the Nephite civilization, as recorded in the Book of Mormon. In this third volume, the author delves into the causes of the Nephites' decline, offering timeless lessons on leadership, resilience, unity, and the dangers of spiritual complacency.
Through a careful examination of historical events and scriptural teachings, this book draws parallels between ancient and modern challenges, providing valuable insights for today’s world. Whether you are seeking personal growth, striving to build stronger communities, or looking for guidance in leadership, From Zarahemla to Cumorah offers a roadmap for navigating life's complexities with faith, integrity, and divine wisdom.
As the final book in this enlightening series, it invites listeners to reflect deeply on their own spiritual journey and the choices that shape their future. This is not just a study of the past—it’s a guide for building a more just, compassionate, and spiritually grounded world.

The author, Cooper Neitzel, delves deeper into the historical events and scriptures to provide rich insightful comparisons between the past and today’s world. He presents the information in a clear concise style while also providing corresponding scripture and historical events to support his statements. This is a well-written book that speaks to many different themes – corruption, ethics, superiority, etc. in a non-judgmental manner.
The narrators, Rachael Doolen and Jon Doolen, speak clearly, delivering the content in an even and smooth tone. Their flawless delivery includes appropriate tonal inflections and pauses, designed to communicate rather than persuade. Transitions between speakers are seamless. They are professionals through and through.
This is the final book in the series. The author’s steady writing style focuses on teaching rather than persuading or recruiting. I appreciate the thoughtful craftsmanship of this book and the entire series.
