Now, with full authorization from the Conan Doyle estate, we bring you 23 newly written adventures as presented on the long-running dramatic radio series starring John Patrick Lowrie as Holmes, with Lawrence Albert as Dr. Watson, Rick May as Inspector Lestrade, and Mary Anne Dorward as Mary Watson.

stories are good. only one problem.

I enjoyed the stories. I have a big problem with every time Watson was mentioned it was always John H Watson. Sometimes Dr Watson's name was put together so weirdly that it took me a bit to realize who they meant. Narrations were.good for most all of them. There were a couple that you could not tell the difference between the characters. Some stories seem to be the same ones that have already been recorded. But there was a different ending. Still over all enjoyed the book

Was a good listen

For those of you that are use to listening to Basil Rathbone as Holmes, the person playing Holmes sounds like he is racing to finish the sentence. Slowing the speed to 90% really did help. And for Watson helped him also.

Great short stories and performance

This was a great set of short stories. Most of them are just 20 minutes long and hold true to the original Conan Doyle style. The cast is very good. I did find that the person doing Sherlock spoke too quickly so I slowed the speed to ×80 and that worked just fine.

Delightful stories

If you enjoy the Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce radio series, then you’ll enjoy Jim French’s “Further Adventures” audio dramas. The stories are fun, intriguing, and performed by a great cast (particularly the leads). A delightful pastiche in the spirit of Conan Doyle’s original stories.
