About this listen
Asia AKA "Pocahontas" is as far from good as anyone can get. Treacherous, backstabbing, ratchet, and manipulative, she spends her days and nights breaking the fragile hearts and fat pockets of her sponsors, trying to maintain her lifestyle through any means necessary. From turning tricks to burning houses down, Poca can go from petty to extreme in the blink of an eye, and with her “career” as a full-time stripper, a new love interest, and the usual drama that seems to follow her wherever she goes, she always has more than she can handle on her plate. The loud and obnoxious Poca is greedy enough to want to have the cake and eat it too, but how long can she juggle it all? When push comes to shove, will she make it out on top, or will her conniving ways make her spiral out of control?
Camden "Gambino" Carter is no ordinary man, and his trove of secrets and deadly talents are a testament to his legacy. With a dark past growing up in a Sicilian family known for producing generations of hitmen and his resulting unorthodox career weighing him down, Gambino has mastered the art of damping down his emotions and has long since molded himself into a silent, loveless man – that is, until he crosses paths with Pocahontas. Can Pocahontas melt the contract killer’s ice-cold heart and make him love again? And will the mysterious Gambino be the very thing she needs to right her ways?

Just No!
This story was ridiculous. I was prepared for ratchet but this was a bit much and as soon as I thought there would be some sense of normalcy there is a death. So much of the writing mimics other books as well. Is this writer only one dimensional? All of her books to a degree tell the same story over and over again. Drugs, strippers, baby mommas and child abuse. It’s nauseating, I couldn’t even finish it.
