Find other financial books

The information in this book regarding credit and debt is accurate, but a terrible approach to finance. If you only read one book, this is well rounded, but I recommend starting with books like "The millionaire next door" or "The richest man in Babylon."

Clear, Concise, and Complete

Fantastic primer for those looking for a "how to" on personal finances. Author found the "goldie locks" balance between providing context and offering immediately actionable advice.

Great for those just getting started - or - those looking for gaps they may have missed along the way.

Outdated, but a good guide for beginners

Fairly shoot coming in at under two hours but covered the basics and helped me get a better understanding of smart money management

Nazle voice and irrelevant data

I would probably request my money back for this book if I hadn't used a free credit to purchase it. There are some common sense things that are good to remember here, but nothing you can't figure out from shopping around on bank/loan/credit card products.

There is also some BAD advice that could get people without a ton of financial literacy further into debt (for example, transferring your CC balances to new cards every time you can't pay a bill). This book is not a set of sound advice. It's a set of tools the author has used in the past with no strategic thinking tying them together which would help her readers decide if the tools made sense for them.

The amounts she uses are ridiculous and not useful - $125,000 for q mortgage??!!

I really wish someone else had narrated the audiobook. Her voice is really unpleasant to listen to for an hour and a half.
