Great Book with Relevant tips for Today

Girl, You’ve Got This is a book every teen girl needs to read! The advice and easy-to-follow exercises are very relevant to what teen girls are facing these days. It provides them with a solid foundation to help with self-esteem and self-doubt. The book places the girls in a situation and then has them think of what comes next. The parts about social media are very important since they spend most of their free time on them. Learning how to navigate social media and not be pressured or made to feel bad is also very important. Definitely recommend every teen girl to give this a read.

solid support for self-worth

This is a thoughtful, well-paced listen that strikes a good balance between encouragement and honesty. I appreciated how it handled self-esteem and body image without being too heavy-handed. It feels like something a teen could actually connect with; relatable and real without being patronizing. A great resource for building a more grounded kind of confidence.

This Is a Good One

Girl, You’ve Got This is a thoughtful and empowering audiobook that delivers what it promises—confidence, self-love, and positive thinking for teens. I gave it to my teenage daughter, who got a kick out of the title and the bright, bold cover. I was initially rewarded with the classic “Oh, Dad!” eye roll, but to my surprise, she actually started listening and found it helpful. The tone is upbeat and relatable without being preachy, and it touches on real challenges teens face today. She’s even quoted parts of it back to me. It’s a solid, affirming resource for any teen girl navigating self-esteem and growing up in a complex world. Worth checking out.

Wish I Had This Years Ago

I listened to this and immediately thought, “Where was this when my daughters were teenagers?” The narrator’s calm, encouraging voice makes it easy to connect. The line “You don’t have to be loud to be strong” hit home—it’s a message I wish my girls had heard growing up. The assertiveness scripts were super useful and not cheesy. I’ll be recommending this to every mom I know with teen girls. It’s exactly the kind of guidance they need.
