About this listen

When the thief guilds all join forces to steal the treasure of the city, Gabriel and the Shadow Foxes face their toughest challenge yet.

But throw in a powerful gorgon, the prying mage academy, and a berserker vigilante hafling, and...well...let’s just say that Gabriel’s unique brand of controlling magic is going to be the only thing that can save the day.

If he can just survive the day.

It seems each books story wraps up nice and neatly from start to finish. No overall large spanning mission or exponential growth. Leaves the series with room to grow but I need this main guy to how SOME type of obviously godly powers with a few limitations. Right now he can be taken don't by any Bloof mage or just more experienced mage. His power needs a serious boost so it would be Godly. Then sex scenes are few, short and not too detailed. Good book overall. Narrator male and female I enjoy listening too. Keep up the good work!

Still waiting for the title to fit the main character...

The fun of a harem novel should be all about the lovely ladies, but I have to say - it's Merlin, Marouk and Den that I find charming and make me smile and laugh as I listen.

Good characters

this story felt forced it wasn't the quality of standard I've come to expect from this author I will be hoping the next book is more of what I expected from one of my favorite authors

liked series

While the story is fine by itself, the author never seems to further the overall story. Large plot questions like why the goddess sent him there are never answered or addressed. The main character's power never seems to grow or develop he just seems to have more mana when he needs it. The hinted subplot of the main chapter developing into something more also does get developed or fleshed out. seems that we will grow old and grey along with the characters long before the bigger picture gets developed. What is growing is the number women the main chapter beds and adds to his harem...ahem..guild.

It's OK but it's just another side quest

This is a great series but the male narrators over eager annunciation really makes it hard to stay focused on the story at times.

good series

I really found the story entertaining. Its relatively light reading but still fun. The narration was done very well, and I was able to stay in the story. The transitions didnt distract you from the story like other dual narrations.

really enjoyed it

Again you got me. I expected him to take Evane last book. But you got me then. However, Evane joining the adventure as a duelist? You got me again.
The best stories keep me guessing incorrectly while being entertaining. 5 stars on both counts.
