About this listen

She loves an irredeemable rake, always has. He has no clue. Until...they each start working on their dreams together

Lady Charlotte loves to see other people's dreams come true, but now she's wondering when it's her turn. When she agrees to help her friend with her new gardening business, she can't admit to herself that it's for selfish reasons: she wants to be close to the man she's loved since childhood.

Davin has just become the Duke of Beauford and he has no clue what he's doing. Especially when he gets roped into helping plan a wedding. What's a duke doing planning a wedding? He couldn't tell you. But somehow his dreams have started to include a quiet girl who's been there for him his whole life. He's never appreciated her...assistance as much as he has now.

What will it take for two people, so close, to finally fall in love?

If you like redeemable wastrels, found dukedoms, and witty banter along with sweet and spicy reads, then you’ll adore Eliana Piers.

Read Good Duke Gone Low if you want a book that celebrates the beauty of everyday dreams.

An interesting parallel following our male lead, Davin the Duke of Beauford, and the oldest golf course in England the Royal North Devon Golf Club (1864). Maybe that is where the similarities end, but in my mind Davin/Devon are almost alike. I also am very much a golf fan, so the many references to golf caught my attention. Yippee, a new subject matter for me. The story beyond the golf was quite the same as the other books in the series. Sexy, but not earth shattering.

The most important criticism I have is the virtual voice. It drives me CRAZY! Why can't during editing, the producer mark where the male voice is and insert a male voice. It can be so difficult following the exchange between characters when everything sounds the same. Not to mention all the mispronounced words. I feel bad complaining when the book is free, but things could be improved. I have many favorite narrators, but for as much as I read the cost is prohibitive. I have started actually reading books, yikes. I miss the good old days of free romance.
