Could not stop listening!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Only stopped listening when I couldn’t listen and sleep at the same time. Interesting, well developed characters and story line. Love British crime and psychological dramas. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

An interesting and promising start to a new series

An interesting and promising start to a new series from Michael Robotham. The series features a forensic psychologist called Cyrus Haven, a man who is haunted by the childhood experience of finding his family gruesomely murdered by his own brother. While investigating the death of a champion figure skater, Cyrus becomes involved with a gifted but damaged teenager with traumatic experiences of her own. Michael Robotham has produced another well crafted book with well developed characters, plots and back stories interwoven with regular twists and turns that will have you constantly readjusting the way you understand the story and characters. If you like this author don't miss this book, the narration by Joe Jameson was a bit average, but the book still went into the top tier of my library.

Genuinely terrible

Can’t think of an audiobook I’ve enjoyed less. Terrible plot, thin characters, dreadful narration. Just awful. Don’t do it.

The story line.

I liked the clever idea but not the voices of so many characters that sounded illiterate and stupid.
