About this listen

Did Hitler - code name "Grey Wolf" - really die in 1945? Gripping new evidence shows what could have happened.

When Truman asked Stalin in 1945 whether Hitler was dead, Stalin replied bluntly, "No." As late as 1952, Eisenhower declared: "We have been unable to unearth one bit of tangible evidence of Hitler's death." What really happened? Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams have compiled extensive evidence - some recently declassified - that Hitler actually fled Berlin and took refuge in a remote Nazi enclave in Argentina. The recent discovery that the famous "Hitler's skull" in Moscow is female, as well as newly uncovered documents, provide powerful proof for their case. Dunstan and Williams cite people, places, and dates in over 500 detailed notes that identify the plan's escape route, vehicles, aircraft, U-boats, and hideouts. Among the details: the CIA's possible involvement and Hitler's life in Patagonia - including his two daughters.

Very interesting theory

I really enjoyed this book. it's clear that quite a bit of research was done. I know many people will refuse to accept this theory as a possibility, but those that do should review the accepted theory of Hitler's death with the same critical eye.

Whoa! Get ready to re-write modern history

Another detailed writing exposing the truth of what happened at the end of WWII and how it transpired. Half of the book details how the Nazi war machine operated and the major players and their roles. The latter half explains the escape of one of the most wicked masterminds of the last 100 years. Really eyeopening accounts and dovetails very well with all information and discoveries found in recent years to support the notion that Hitler truly escaped. History may need to be corrected.

Eye Opening

Until listening to this book, I never would have imagined some of the things that took place during, and after WWII. It's disturbing, but not surprising that many U.S companies backed the German war machine.

Good Premise...bad fact checking

Really enjoyed the premise of this book. Watched Hunting Hitler on History Channel with me 13 year old daughter and it seems this may have been used for some of their research on that show. BUT just an FYI for your facts Mr. Dunstan and Mr. Williams. Alamogordo is in New Mexico NOT Nevada. And Harry S Truman was a Senator from Missouri NOT Arkansas!!! Come on rookie mistakes both of them and I could point out more but these were glaring mistakes. Anyone who has any interest in WW2 history should know those 2 simple facts off the top of their head.

Must read

Everything that history doesn't tell you about the Nazis and Hitler. This very detailed account may well be the real truth.

Interesting premise-but little real data

Although the premise of this book was interesting, much of it is based on anecdotal reports, rather than hard-and-fast documents from unimpeachable sources.

The book seems to be mired down endlessly, with a very detailed description of World War II in Europe. But this is something that we can find almost anywhere.

As for performance, many of the German words and names were not correctly pronounced. A book narrator should take the time to find out what the proper pronunciations are, for foreign words.

enjoyed this perspective

Good book, very technical though a lot of statistics and information which I enjoyed but sometimes was hard to follow.
