About this listen
In a land ruled by werewolves and shadowed by rebellion, Gwynn’s quiet life as a goat herder is shattered when a full moon brings tragedy to her family’s farm. Determined to protect her loved ones, Gwynn embarks on a journey that takes her from the enchanted forests to the heart of the royal castle, where secrets, curses, and dangerous alliances lie in wait.
Caught between her growing feelings for Tristan—a mysterious werewolf prince—and the rising tide of rebellion led by the enigmatic Radigan, Gwynn must navigate a treacherous world of magic and politics. As she uncovers truths about her kingdom and herself, Gwynn faces impossible choices that could break the curse binding the royal family—or plunge the kingdom into chaos forever.
With courage, wit, and the aid of a mischievous fairy, Gwynn steps into her destiny. But will her bold actions be enough to rewrite her kingdom’s fate, or will she be swept away by forces too powerful to resist?
A tale of love, rebellion, and the unyielding pull of the full moon, Gwynn and the Wolves is a spellbinding journey into a world where magic and betrayal collide.
Fawley’s greatest strength lies in crafting a deeply personal story within a broader mythic framework. Gwynn’s journey through grief, resilience, and reluctant empowerment is rendered with tenderness and clarity. The landscape, infused with folklore and quiet menace, feels like a character in itself—one that mirrors Gwynn’s inner transformation. The story’s brevity works in its favor, delivering a focused, poignant narrative that never overreaches.

Honestly I was ready to be disappointed in this book, I was ready to not like it. I was greatly disabused of that. This book was really really entertaining. I don't want to spoil it for you, there were twists and turns. Ones I, as an avid reader and amateur detective, did not see coming. The characters are well thought out and seem like whole people.
The world is well thought out and not overly explained, though I never was at a loss for why something worked the way it did in the world. There is a robust cast, though not so many that you can't remember them all.
It's not my normal genre of book but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story is complete and start to finish it is very entertaining.
The whole thing feels complete even though it is shorter than my normal read. Now I have to go and binge everything by Jude!! Great author Great story. The narrator, though I don't normally like female narration, did an amazing job. The only thing I have to say bad about it is I wanted more story. I wanted more fairy interactions, I wanted more depth to the whole castle life. Though even saying I wanted more, I am not unsatisfied with the depth in those scenes. Could there of been more of that, sure. did the story need more, no.
All in all I have to say though I didn't purchase it, you should. Worth the credit.
I just wish it was Longer!!!!!!!!!!!
