About this listen

HUNTING THE HUNTERS is retired Fish and Wildlife Detective Todd Vandivert’s seventh book of his Wildlife Justice Series. In this book, the Washington Fish and Wildlife Officers of Okanogan County join forces to apprehend the poachers responsible for killing endangered species. The entire group of dedicated game wardens works tirelessly to identify the persons responsible for the poaching incidents and bring them to justice, but at a very high cost, as one of their own fights for his life. While the game wardens are busy hunting down the poachers, someone is killing hunters seemingly at random. The team of wardens hit a dead-end until they receive help from a most unlikely source.

REVIEWS:
Todd’s books in his Wildlife Justice series are so interesting and real that you feel you are part of the action. Fiction based on real-world knowledge and a very thorough understanding of detailed investigations brings the reader into the story. I recommend all of his books. Some of my favorite reads. Jerry Zimmerman (Retired Fish & Wildlife Officer and US Marine).
These books are realistic portrayals of the life of a Game Warden. The author’s vast experience is apparent throughout the book as he weaves a tale of mystery that keeps you turning the pages. It’s the most accurate depiction of the way a real investigation occurs while keeping the reader interested and engaged with all of the characters. Buy these books, and you won’t regret it. Jim Nelson (Retired Fish and Wildlife Officer)
These Wildlife Justice Series books are amazing. I’ve read every one so far, and they just get better and better. I feel I really know the main characters now, which makes the stories even more enjoyable. A definite read for anyone who enjoys a mystery involving the protection of our natural resources and the men and women who dedicate their lives to that cause. Marion Hoffman, Manager- International Game Warden Magazine.
