2nd time through

Really really like this series… I like that these women do a good job and don’t take a backseat just because they’re female. I agree with some of the other writers of reviews that she does seem to have a lot of tryst. Always giving into whatever that is that gets her into the man’s bed. BUT- the writing is excellent! Carolyn Haines does a fantastic job.

Great series but……

I love this series but really getting tired of getting a man thing! Sarah Booth is tiring with all of her trysts. I wish the author would either stop writing about her getting a man and the womb and just focus on the story. I read somewhere that the author does not intend on Sarah Booth marrying so just stop it already. However, I think a happy ending would be great

A fun read

The characters are fun and likable. The storyline is interesting. I adore the interactions between Jetty (sp) and Sarah Booth.

Great listen

I bought this to listen to because my aunt was reading it. I didn't realize it was a series, so it took me a while to get the whole picture. Nonetheless it was still a fantastic story!

Great Series but Too Repetitive

I agree with another reviewer. Either get a man or quit whining. The “thing” with Coleman needs to stop. It’s getting old and boring. Grow up Sarah Booth!

A Motive For Murder

Long buried secrets take P.I.
Sarah Booth Delaney & her partner Tinkie into the colorful maze if New Orleans French Quarter. The plot is full of twists & turns that include her
inability to decide whether she truly loves Coleman or Hamilton.
The story moves at a good pace with touches of humor to lighten the more somber tone of this mystery. Finally long buried secrets are exposed &
the murderer is identified. Only Sarah's love life is
left unresolved...until next time. Enjoy!

good series

I like the Sara Boothe series, this one was a good one with some twists and turns. at times though it did seem to drag a bit.
