Book ONE Of a Series of Jane Austen Variations.
What if Miss Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy found themselves entangled in a flirtation, both seeking a respite from the serious demands of society? This clean and sweet closed-door romance breathes fresh life into a classic story.
Mr. Darcy, bound by a solemn promise to his late mother, faces a weekly reminder from his persistent Aunt about his duty to marry and care for his cousin Anne. Determined to keep his heart untouched and aloof, he enters into a unique friendship—with some benefits—with the spirited Miss Elizabeth. Their connection is undeniable, but can they navigate the intricacies of their situations without succumbing to the inevitable pull of something more?
In a small town where hope for a secure and loving marriage is scarce, Miss Elizabeth yearns for companionship and simple relationships that defy societal expectations. As she and Mr. Darcy embark on a friendship with its own set of rules, the question looms: can they emerge from this unconventional arrangement with their hearts unscathed?
Discover a playful and heartwarming take on a timeless classic, where the boundaries of friendship are tested, and the pursuit of love takes unexpected turns. Will Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth find a way to safeguard their hearts, or will the allure of something deeper prove too irresistible to resist? Join them on a journey that challenges convention and redefines the meaning of love.

A Bouquet of Bennets is a five book series in which each of the Bennet sisters marries William Collins for different reasons. Each book is a stand-alone novel, the first being the story of least regarded Bennet, Mary. When William Collins visits Longbourn, he is immediately drawn to Miss Mary Bennet, despite Mrs. Bennet’s determination that he will wed Elizabeth. As in canon, Bingley leases Netherfield, bringing his family and Darcy into Hertfordshire. Unlike canon, it is through Mary and Jane Bennet that Darcy discovers how poorly he has behaved and it is at the urging of Colonel ...

Working with the full cooperation of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith have accessed a wealth of previously untapped materials. While drawing liberally from the artist's famously eloquent letters, they have also delved into hundreds of unpublished family correspondences, illuminating with poignancy the wanderings of Van Gogh's troubled, restless soul. Naifeh and Smith bring a crucial understanding to the larger-than-life mythology of this great artist.

Poor virtual narration
Super poor virtual narration, when a man bows before someone he has a bow (like hair bow), etc etc. The story was nice, but seemed like a departure from the true character of the main people in the original story. Not as true to character, but a fun read if you stop comparing.

This was not Elizabeth to me
This story was very different. Elizabeth behaved very far from canon. Not to my liking. Not witty as usual. She was brass and forward. Did things she would not do. The virtual voice has its issues with British English.

Less would have been more
Did not like AI voice. Difficult at times to determine who was the speaker.
Story suffered from the over the top dialogue on attraction and romantic interactions. I prefer Austen’s style of more subtle and succinct use of words and body language.
