About this listen

Everyone experiences times of sadness, trials, and pain. But what happens when grief and depression seem so overwhelming that we feel like giving up? As the founder of World Challenge, Inc., David Wilkerson worked with troubled people of every type: students, parents, alcoholics, delinquents, businessmen, pastors, teachers, and drug addicts. In this hopeful and encouraging book, Wilkerson examines the universal problem of discouragement. He shows listeners how to let God heal their wounds, restore their faith, and give them genuine, lasting peace.

I like the idea that time does not heal one, God does! It is encouraging to know God is in control of His creation.

More and more I find that only pastor Wilkerson understands the thoughts that occur in my mind. It is as if the same thoughts and questions courses through his mind and therefore, he provides very indepth answers to profound questions. Great read. Thank you for making it free via Audible. I love the message if this book. I dislike the fact that Brother Wilkerson is no longer with gone but I'm thankful to God that he is in heaven with Jesus.

What stands out most is that God really forgave me and that I need to forgive myself.

This book is awesome. I especially liked his clarification on death. I enjoyed his version of Jesus walking on water. A must read for not only enjoyment but also a new view on life.
