Helping my child to heal
After decades of saying "I'm fine" and brushing off my childhood experiences as "normal," this book gently showed me it was okay to acknowledge the hurt little girl inside me. The narrator's voice became my safe space during lunch breaks and evening walks. Sometimes I'd sit in my parked car, tissues in hand, as the guided meditations helped me face memories I'd buried under years of "staying strong." My daughter noticed I laugh more easily now. My husband says I seem lighter. And that scared little girl inside? We're finally becoming friends. If you're ready to heal, this audiobook might be the gentle guide you need.
