About this listen
Healing the Deepest Wounds is the go-to resource for those who accompany a woman or a man in the process of healing from the wounds of abortion.
For those hoping to support someone who suffers from the wounds of abortion, this book offers practical insights for both emotional and spiritual healing. It is especially helpful for priests, pastors and counselors.
“What impressed me most about Fr. Cameron’s work is his reminder to women and men involved in the abortion of their child that they are called to holiness. There is hope for them. This work is written with compassion and mercy, faithful to the Gospel, and borne of experience.”
—Most Rev. John M. LeVoir, Bishop Emeritus of New Ulm
“Healing the Deepest Wounds offers a concise, easy to understand guide that will help you better understand the complicated grief and emotional trauma that often accompany abortion decisions and procedures.”
—Theresa Burke, Ph.D. and Kevin Burke, MSS
Founders, Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries
“At times bold and fearless, at other times, gentle and soft-spoken, this book promises to be an essential guide for anyone coping with the aftermath of ‘society’s deepest wound.’”
—J. Augustine Wetta, O.S.B.
“This book will be helpful to many who desire God’s
healing, and to those who desire to help others to connect with the heart of God.”
—Martha Shuping, M.D., M.A. Psychiatrist
Fr. Ben J. Cameron, CPM, is a member of the Fathers of Mercy, a missionary preaching religious community. His healing after abortion ministry is a result of his missionary preaching work, through which he became aware of the deep wounds of abortion. Healing the Deepest Wounds equips pastors, counselors, and others who desire to help women and men suffering after abortion.
