About this listen

At only eight-years old, JaMarius was a smart little boy with a heart of gold, but he longed to feel like he belonged. Around his mother, JaMarius was constantly reminded that he was a splitting image of his father. For that very reason, his mother didn’t like him. No matter what he did to try to make his mother love him, nothing ever seemed to be good enough. He wanted so badly to know what it was like to be nurtured by his mother, but he never got the chance to experience it. The turmoil he suffered at home and school became too much for him and he knew that he had to find a way out. Loretta chose motherhood as a plot to gain revenge on the man that broke her heart. She figured that by having JaMarius, she would be able to get rich off him from his father. But, when his father wants nothing to do with her and she doesn’t get a dime for child support, she takes all of her anger out of JaMarius. With all of her dreams washed down the drain, she aims to make sure that the people around her are just as miserable as she was. Can JaMarius bounce back from being bullied at school and at home? Will Loretta ever be able to get over the hatred she has towards JaMarius’s father and love him the way a mother should? Follow JaMarius as he goes through the struggle of having the Heart of a Champion, but the Mind of a Killer. African American Suspense Thriller & Suspense

Trigger warning!!!

First of all a trigger warning would have been good SA, child abuse ect however it held my interest and had a lot of twists and turns crazy how so many ppl in the book were all connected. Just imagine the life of a very abused neglected child & what living that lifestyle can drive them to do. Good read overall wish it was more of a happy ending left you with more questions like… spoiler alert if he was such a good dad how he didn’t know what was going on with the daughter & is he gone do right now 🤷🏽‍♀️ anywho keep writing I’d try another book by the author just warn me b4 I’m bout to hear what sick individuals do to children smh
