The story was good but the continued mention of skin tone was a bit disappointing because it was completely unnecessary and added no relevance whatsoever to story, It screams colorism ! Also the AI narration takes away from what could’ve been a better book!

This is a great story and the main character Felecia was absolutely hurt but turned away from god which causes her to have more trouble than needed. Great lesson in this book I’m just sad that these books are being read by AI and not a human. Someone call me I’ll read these books for y’all
