Excerpts:
“Wake up, sunshine.”
I opened my eyes to discover a pistol in my mouth. It was held by an attractive young woman about my size and age.
- - -I punched her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. She regained her composure and headed for the door. I tripped her. She fell onto her face and I grabbed hold of her skirt, using it to drag her across the hotel room floor. The garment came off, leaving her skirtless.
- - -I was preoccupied with getting access to the Stone Aviation server so I could see what was going on behind the scenes, particularly people's emails. To pursue this endeavor I pursued an attractive IT worker named Nicki. I made it a point to go on break when she did. Things were progressing nicely.
- - -
I walked in. His office was dimly lit, he sat at a large cherrywood desk on the far side. A small lamp lit up the aging features of his face.
“Hello, Miss Stone. Nice to finally meet you. I can see the resemblance.”
He didn't get up. I walked the distance across the room to his desk.
“Rinker, we can do this the easy way or the hard way.”
“What are you talking about, Miss Stone?”
“Resign willingly, or I rake your reputation across the coals and make sure you never manage another publicly owned company.”
- - -“We are considering a new corporate dress code, clothing-not-optional. Your team has been designated a beta test group. Take off your clothes.”
- - -When we got to Renée, no one would believe she was a hitwoman. She was too petite, demure and charming. Charm is a trait of a sociopath, ergo my charm. Then it was Heather's turn.
“I let Sammy believe I'm with the CIA. That's not exactly true. The government has seventeen intelligence agencies. Mine is somewhere between CIA and NSA. Call it XYZ if you need a name. I consider myself an enabler. When things need to get done, I'm your girl.”
- - -“I've been to Hedonism Island before,” said Jeanna. “It's clothing optional during the day. We could all deboard the jet nude and not attract much attention. Are you guys bold enough?”
“During the day? What about at night?”
“There is a 10 pm clothing curfew. Anyone wearing clothes in public after that is subject to arrest.”
“This sounds like my kind of place.”
- - -The door burst open. Six people clad in black and armed with assault rifles charged into the room. Each wore a face mask with openings for their eyes and mouth. I don't know what they were expecting, but it certainly wasn't what they got.
- - -He approached me, his body language salacious. “You're a very attractive young woman, Miss Stone. Perhaps an extra enticement is in order.”
He got as far as unbuttoning my top button. I gave him a knee to the groin. “This kind of enticement?”
- - -
“Emma, you have been abducted.”
“No shit, Sherlock. I figured that much out for myself. Are you going to rape me?”
- - -Three beings came through my wall as if it weren't a solid object. I couldn't move.

The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.
