About this listen

The Cochise County coroner ruled his death a suicide. John "Doc" Holliday begged to differ and claimed the kill as his own. But, U.S. Marshal John Cariton knew the truth: Some outlaws never die... maybe Johnny Ringo will just tell you himself.

From the author of Order of the Wolf and The Final Day and the author/screenwriter of A Crooked Mind and Shadow of Darkness, comes the frantic race through time to stop the Old West's most notorious outlaw - risen from the dead with the armies of Hell under his command - from reaping souls to unleash Armageddon.

Great time travel twisting story

I will say I had hoped Salzman would narrate this since he is such an amazing narrator…. But I was very happy with Matt Hicks.
The story was fast paced and gets going quickly, never stops.
Wild West comes to the future and then goes even further…. A lot further.
Gunslingers, demons, witches, the devil…. And time travel. I mean you can’t go wrong!
I promise you’ll love it!

Amazing Story

Some outlaws never die and Johnny Ringo is one of them. He can jump time and has made a deal with the devil to come back from the dead. But if there is evil there must also be good to bring balance to the universe and the balancer here is Marshall John Cariton, who is hot on the trail of Ringo.
This is an awesome audio not only is the narrator wonderful, but the book is the great too. I love the characters and their attitudes toward how things have changed in the future. I found myself cheering for the Marshall and disliking Ringo right away due to the wonderful story telling. This book is amazing and I can’t wait for more.

Hellbenders

ohn Colton is a US Marshall who was responsible for the death of notorious outlaw Johnny Ringo. However, when saloon girls start being murdered in a horrific way, he begins to doubt his own mind. He soon finds himself chasing Ringo through time while trying to stop the end of the world!

It seems that Ringo has made a pact with Satan in order to still be "alive". John meets up with a woman named Erin and her magician friend, Gabriel, in order to track down Ringo and put an end to his killing spree. This book has demons, magic, zombies, and plenty of shootouts as well. I detected a bit of a nod to Stephen Kings's Gunslinger character (thanks for that!). As a fan of the Old West, the author has captured the flavor of those times while blending it with futuristic inventions as well.

At first I was disappointed that Salzman did not narrate his own book since he is one of my favorite narrators, but Matt Hicks did an outstanding job. His performance added a lot to this amazing story!
