About this listen

Late summer, 1940. Hitler has conquered France. Now he intends to cross the Channel and defeat Britain before winter arrives.

A group of young refugees led by British spy Charles Henderson faces a stark choice: to head south into the safety of neutral Spain or go north on a risky mission to sabotage the German invasion plans.

For official purposes, these children do not exist.

eagle day

I like these better than the original cherub books (the books that take place in the same universe)
I have always enjoyed Simon Scardifield's reading of cherub books. he reads fast but it works for them because I was pretty familiar with British terms. however it does not work here. I actually had to slow the book down. To understand anything because of the French and German terms are just out there and gone before you fully understand them.
