About this listen

Having the cutest neighbor is a real pain in the neck...

Callie is immune to all forms of magic—including the mesmerizing gaze that lets vampires bend humans to their will. That's made her the target of an ancient evil determined to enslave her... or destroy her.

Her only hope lies in her mysterious neighbor, Armant. His superhuman strength and piercing intuition captivate her as much as they frighten her.

Yet, her bright spirit has ignited a spark within him that he thought had long been extinguished. And Armant has a score to settle with the master vampire that's targeting her.

As sparks fly and danger looms, Callie has to decide: can she truly trust a vampire with her heart? Or will their forbidden attraction lead her straight into eternal darkness?

Get ready for a fun, fast-paced, feel-good vampire adventure—packed with laughs, thrills, and unforgettable swoon-worthy moments! This is a complete, sweet stand-alone novel with edge-of-your-seat suspense, thrilling chases, snarky humor, and a happily-ever-after ending. This book also features Viola the enchantress and Brock the bear shifter from Her Second Chance Shifter.

Perfect for fans of Annette Marie, Heather G. Harris, Isa Medina, K. M. Shea, Lindsay Buroker, and Kenley Davidson.

Say no to virtual voice narration

This audiobook could have been much better with a human narrator. I wish there were differences between the male and female characters’ voices.

The AI reading

Sounded like a young person who had just learned how. There was little voice inflection or moderation. I would have enjoyed the book more if I had known that the reader was not a loving person.
