I appreciated

What I appreciated about this book, was the obvious amount of heavy research that went into it. There is so much information involved in this book, everything from practical gardening knowledge to a look at the historical roots of herbs being used in witchcraft.

Informative

There is more text and information than in the average witch book. I appreciate the historical information shared and the real-world approach to herbalism. This is a relevant, fresh perspective paving the way for the future of witchcraft.

Explained well

As a Wiccan, I know this in my heart to not be true as the Wiccan path is meant to be flexible and free-formed to anyone as long as they agree to not harm anyone... this book is not about Wicca at all but I wish the author was a little more educated on the religion before making that claim.

Enjoyed

The perspective on witchcraft and just life in general and living in tune with the earth resonated with me, and the book has a nice balance of practical and magical information, as well as historical context

It's spiritual and flexible.

I bought it because I was interested in nature, herbs, crystals, and energy (esp from nature and higher sources). I expected an encyclopedia almost, with an accumulation of data I could have googled.

Lived-in encyclopedia

This book is like a lived-in encyclopedia. Beyer walks her walk and fills this text with all sorts of textured anecdotes of her life in magick. "Wild Witchcraft" is sensory, poetic, personal, historical, regional, and potently rooted in politics.
