Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Not One of Martin's Best
The content is good, but is redundant of much of the material in Martin's (much better) book, _Fast Track to Higher Consciousness_. In places, this book comes off as annoyingly preachy. If you are well-read in New Thought and the New Physics (ala _Dancing Wu Li Masters_), you won't find anything new here. If you are a beginner in these areas, this book will give you a pretty good start.

Biased and subjective.
Nothing new. Author did give credit, though to a list of people who wrote and taught the same things before him. His political views were a bad fit.
He talks about karma. Yet bad things happen to good people, positive people everyday.
He gives rules for ethical behavior in business but I don’t see them being followed by business or political leaders of his own party. Look at innocents who have died or been mutilated in past and current wars while many of the instigators live in luxury.
I need not go on. This book was a waste of time.
