About this listen

Adam Hunter has more than his share of battles to fight, and demons to dodge. He's searching the Colorado high country for a killer he's never seen but knows only too well. When Hunter saves the life of ranch foreman Edge Pardee, and the ranch owner asks him to stay on and help, he agrees. But the last thing a man needs when he's stalking a killer is to be stuck in the middle of a range war with responsibilities and a woman he can't resist....

This is a good western. Adam Hunter is hunting for the guy that killed his friend. Hunter is a deputy but not while he's on this hunt. He ends up saving a guy that's being shot at ,(Pardee). Hunter stays there and helps on the ranch while hunting his guy. He falls for a woman there (Linda). There in the middle of a range war. There is several people to keep up with. You have to pay extra attention to keep everyone separate and who's who. This book held my attention from start to finish. There is a good storyline with the right amount of action. I think he (Hunter) could have made better decisions. This is a western mystery. Rusty Nelson does a great job narrating this book. Which is why I listened to it to start with.
