Way too detailed. I’m still not sure that I learned anything new. I was looking for more interviews with the artists and producers and got hours and hours of social commentary and common knowledge to the average hip hop connoisseur.

If you’re looking for insider knowledge, look for a different book. I would suggest “Son of The City” or any interview with Dante Ross. You’ll get much more information in a short amount of time.
