About this listen

I lost one mate, I couldn’t stand to lose another. I just wish I could figure out how to resist him.

Get this complete boxset including:

Dark and Forbidden Luca's Secret Baby

As a girl from the wrong side of the tracks and the wrong lion pride, I’m used to scraping by.

It’s hard enough looking after my brother who’s going nowhere and my dad who started drinking when my mom died and hasn’t stopped.

But being under the thumb of Blake, a brutal alpha who won’t leave me alone, doesn’t make it any easier.

When I share one night with Luca, the captain of St. Dominic’s hockey team, The Cougars, and an alpha of a pride that has feuded with mine for generations, I think that’s all it is: One night.

Luca is kind, strong, and beautiful. He’s also way too good for me.

One night.

That’s it.

But then I get pregnant.

If I seek asylum with Luca’s pride, I can leave my sad, hard life behind and Blake won’t be able to say a thing about it.

It’s the perfect solution to all my problems.

Except that Luca isn’t the father...Blake is.

One lie and my life is fixed.

No one will ever know...right?

Miguel's Secret Cub

I was just a teenager when I ran away from the pride that had made my life hell growing up.

Leaving home wasn’t easy, since I also had to leave Daisy, the one good thing in my otherwise rough life.

But scraping by, a lone lion shifter in a big world, I ended up doing some terrible things.

I even ended up betraying Daisy in the worst possible way.

Now I have a different life, playing for the St. Dominic Cougars and living with three other lions shifters who are as good as brothers to me.

Then one day, Daisy appears with a little boy who she says belongs to me.

Daisy is the only girl I’ve ever loved, yet all I’ve done is hurt her.

I don’t want to be the one to hurt her again.

But will get this new dad thing figured out, before all my past sins come back to haunt me?

Curse Breaker Friends to Lovers

Two years ago my mate was killed by an enemy alpha and since that day, my daughter hasn’t spoken or even moved.

Life hasn’t just been hard, it’s been awful.

Coming to St. Dominic, all I’m hoping for is a fresh start with a new pride.

I expected to have to struggle. What I didn’t expect was so much kindness and generosity from the shifters of St. Dominic.

I didn’t expect Charlie either.

Charlie isn’t just a cute and sexy alpha hockey player, he’s funny and sweet. After two years of misery and grief, he’s a breath of fresh air.

But nothing scares me more than giving my heart away to another alpha.

I lost one mate, I couldn’t stand to lose another.

I just wish I could figure out how to resist him.

Sara's Dark Secret

When I killed my abusive mate to protect myself and my daughter, no one in my pride believed it was self-defense.

To punish me, they cursed me with a halo, a light that surrounds me all the time and which can only be seen by other shifters, warning them that I’m guilty of a terrible crime.

Warning - Window fogging steamy scenes! For mature audiences only. These are standalone books with a HEA ending.

Great shifter books

I thoroughly enjoyed these four books. Each one has its own unique story and the hockey team is a group of friends/alphas. This is the story of each one finding his mate. These are not sports books. They're just a solid background of basically how the guys came together with a common hobby and became friends. I enjoyed the reader and was able to stay involved in the story.

Strong alpha men ready to protect!

I enjoyed all of these stories. They are gripping tales of strong alpha men ready to protect their soon to be mates and children. It also deals with this strong brotherhood of men and sisterhood of women.

Overall I enjoyed the two narrators. At times I did have a difficult time differentiating between the characters with the first narrator. The second narrator did give the characters distinctive voices. There also needed to be better editing. Many words were repeated at the beginning of sentences. I do recommend this Audible book.

Editing

The book & the narrator were great but the editing was subpar. There were any times where either whole sentences or partial sentences that repeated sometimes 2 or 3 times.

Oddly specific

I had this box set in my wish list for awhile before finally deciding to read it. The ‘hockey playing lion shifter dads’ seemed oddly specific and I didn’t know if I was going to like it but I’m very pleased. The storylines were good and you don’t have to know anything about hockey to enjoy the books. There were a couple of hiccups with the narration where it seemed some edits weren’t made but it didn’t take away from the stories.

Hockey Playing Lion Shifter Dads

This is a collection of stories that lean more towards young adult. The characters are young and act like it. Each book centers around an alpha from the towns hockey team and how they find their other half. Each one has a different journey to go through. It was nice to see the camaraderie between the men and how they embrace each of the new woman. These books moved at a fast pace and there are some explicit scenes so they are written for adults. They read a little too much like a soap opera for me. There are two different narrators for this box set. I was not a fan of the voices that either narrator used and there was some issues with the editing and some sentences were repeated.

A Hallmark Movie

This is supposed to be about a series on Hockey and Lion Shifters. The narrator was happy all the time. There was barely any mention of Hockey and Barely any of Lions other going out for a run. There was no Alpha roles other then the name. All the books were very under developed and the narrator reminded me of watching a Hallmark Movie.
