About this listen
Trudy Jensen has been caring for other people for over twenty years, their broken hearts, broken lives and broken relationships. Now she’s thinking about her own relationships, particularly with men. Should she try online dating? What if one of her counselling clients found her online?
Even as she stalls over these questions she meets an intriguing man. Does she recognize him? Is he only friendly and not really dangerous?
Is he who he claims to be?
Accompany Trudy as she wakes to a smiling face, cries on a reliable shoulder and discovers that God is real in her daily life.
HOLDING JESUS is the fifth book in the SEEING JESUS series.

What if the Jesus who is your closest friend and God visited you so you could see and hear Him.
This book is a very warm yet imaginative and intelligent treatment of a few days visit in physical form by Jesus with a single middle aged woman who is already in an advanced stage of spiritual growth. The “Seeing Jesus” series has Jesus visit people of a variety of ages and life situations. While the Jesus character in the books remains stable the characters he visits have enough differences in situation, outlook, and personality that the books have maintained my interest and certainly fed my fascination for what might be likenesses to the personality and character of Jesus. The “Holding Jesus” relationship most closely approaches what I hope is an ideal one between a person and their God. The presence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the form of guidance and encouragement fit my interpretation of what Jesus promised. There is humor and fun that also uphold a great view of God, or the way I would like Him to present. The book is not irreverent but in fact is the opposite. I had already read “ Holding Jesus” and did not think my enjoyment of the story could increase. The audio book was so well done that it allowed me to experience a deeper appreciation of the characters.
I was given an ARC of the recording. The opinions expressed here are completely my own.
