The world of Peter Hanson, emerging true crime writer, is about to fall apart. He is informed by the police that both his parents have been found dead in their bed. that virtual voice is horrible i had to skip several chapters to the end its like listening to a robot i know its ai but its bad

story was good but,,,,

It's hard to say if the story itself is good since it's impossible to listen to the virtual voice. I made it to the 4 hour mark but it took several days. I typically listen to books while cleaning the house or on my commute to work but the voice on this one is boring. I feel bad for the author as the virtual voice narration kept me from finishing.
