About this listen
"Ashmore creates fierce characters with confidence and authority. A fresh and welcome Western narrative." -Best-Selling Author Ralph Cotton
After leaving his family when he was a boy, Jim Long has finally come home. Or at least as close to home as he could remember. There was a town in the valley now and people he didn’t know. There were also killers on the loose. When Jim survives an attack he learns the biggest rancher in the area wants him dead. Jim doesn’t know why. He doesn’t even know
the man, but he makes an effort to find out the truth and when the truth is revealed and the blood flows, Jim Long is welcomed with a deadly homecoming.

JIM LONG (HOME COMING)
Wow what a story line. Jim Long comes home and everything has changed. A rich rancher that owns the town and controls it feels threatened. He orders his men to kill Jim. Jim is hard to kill. He fights back. This is an excellent storyline. A lot of action, Fighting and twist and turn of circumstances. I am not a fan of Virtual voice but I'll put up with it to get these storylines. Worse narration ever.
Decent story absolutely ruined by virtual voice. It sound like a 4th grader reading copy never seen before One. Word. At. A. Time. No emphasis or emotion whatsoever.
