About this listen
House on Haunted Hill: Resurrection is a contemporary reimagining of the iconic Vincent Price horror film. After serving a 20-year sentence for his wife's murder in the notorious House on Haunted Hill, Frederick Loren decides to host another haunted house party with a sinister agenda—to expose several self-proclaimed psychics as frauds. Seven individuals, each harboring their own flaws, eagerly accept Loren's invitation, enticed by the promise of a $100,000 prize if they survive the night.
Unbeknownst to the guests, the mansion's previous owner, Watson Pritchard, firmly believes in its haunted nature, and his convictions prove chillingly accurate. The malevolent spirit of Inquisitor Torquemada, along with his bloodthirsty henchmen, awakens from its slumber after years of dormancy, fixating its supernatural wrath on the unsuspecting guests.
Soon after their arrival, the guests discover the sinister truth—they are trapped inside the house until morning, with no electricity, internet, or cellphone reception. The windows are barred, and the doors are impenetrable steel. Unsettling events quickly unfold, with guests vanishing one by one in the labyrinthine corridors of the haunted house.
As the vengeful ghosts grow increasingly active, the remaining guests embark on a desperate quest to find a means of escape, all while Frederick Loren's hidden cameras capture the night's terror, intending to expose the fraudulent psychics. But as the house's sinister forces close in, survival takes precedence over unveiling the truth, and the guests must confront their deepest fears and unravel the secrets that bind them to the House on Haunted Hill.

This book and subsequent volumes are the sum of my efforts to illustrate what I know of fear, as high strangeness continues to manifest itself in a world spiraling rapidly out of control. On the morning that will mark the end of the world they have known, Molly and Neil Sloan awaken to the drumbeat of rain on their roof. A strange scent hangs faintly in the air, and the young couple cannot shake the sense of something wrong.

The Wishmaster movie introduced horror fans to a new and enduring villain - the Djinn, a demonic genie who would offer wishes but would only grant nightmares. Despite establishing itself as a classic - and unlike many of its contemporaries - Wishmaster never received a novelization - until now! Based on the original screenplay by Peter Atkins, this novelization was written by Christian Francis (Author and narrator of Everyday Monsters and Incubus The Descent).

Story
The discovery of bricked-up skeletal remains at 36, Craven Street point to something more diabolical than an illegal anatomy school. The tool marks on the bones - arcane sigils of great power - indicate more than mere butchery, more than enlightened experimentation. The signs, omens, and portents support the crown's greatest fears. A great evil is being unleashed upon the gaslit streets of London, a blood-drenched shadow reaching skeletal fingers beyond the slums of Whitechapel.

London, 1703. In a time when the old approaches to science coexist with the new, one elite community attempts to understand the world by collecting its wonders. Sir Barnaby Mayne, the most formidable of these collectors, has devoted his life to filling his cabinets. While the curious-minded vie for invitations to study the rare stones, bones, books, and artifacts he has amassed, some visitors come with a darker purpose. Exalting war and art in harmony, the warrior-artisans of the Angels Resplendent have forged a radiant haven amidst a blighted galaxy. But an ancient sin stains their honour - a wound in their world that will never heal. Ignorant souls would call it a forest, but those who watch over it know better. Nothing natural grows in the Reverie’s snow-swept glades or wanders amongst the unnatural things that do, save for the intruders who trespass on its pain. Some seek revelation or redemption, others dream of winning a place amongst the Resplendent, but all come because they must.

Story
Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

Story
When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

If the author manages to clear a hundred bucks with this stinker,.. I would suggest he invest in a weighty thesaurus.!!
