About this listen

Jesus taught more often on money than he did on love or on heaven and hell combined. Why? It's because money is one of the chief competitors for our affections. "You cannot serve God and money," he warned. How, then, should Christians view and use money? How should they view and participate in economic systems?

In How Should I Think about Money?, Dr. R.C. Sproul offers much-needed biblical answers to these questions, and in so doing, provides clarity on an important issue in the lives of Christians.

Chapters:

  • Taking Care of Our House
  • Reasons for Poverty
  • The Building of Wealth
  • The Theory of Value
  • What is Money?
  • Inflation
  • Interest
  • Participating in Ownership
  • Resources

I would highly recommend parents to use some of these contents to teach their children about the basics of money. R.C ❤️

I liked the straightforward language and the immense practicality of each chapter. The depth of knowledge and wisdom packed in such a small volume without severely overloading my brain. When the book was done I wanted to hear more, I was almost disappointed it was over.

Through this book I have learned about 1st Timothy 5: 8. I have learned about the way we spend our money, a bit about personal and financial business senses and that managing your finances such as investments and savings is crucial and biblical.

I wish I could have had Sproul as a teacher. Even though my dad is a wealthy man I had no idea how to handle money. This would have made my life much better later in life.

Why does no one learn this in school?
