YHWH has left throughout history to be a tribal god in a polytheistic society, to be the unique God of Jewish / Christian monotheism, creator of heaven and earth. In order to become a single god it was necessary to incorporate the characteristics of various gods and customs of other religions. Understanding the origin and influence of religions is fundamental in building a more empathic, less fanatical and more just society.
