About this listen
You’re sick, tired, and stuck navigating a healthcare system that feels impossible to crack. The referrals lead nowhere, wait times are endless, and you’re constantly dismissed by doctors who make you feel like it’s all in your head. Meanwhile, you’re battling insurance denials and pondering over lab results with the nagging feeling that you’re alone in this fight.
But you don’t have to face your battle alone!
Kristina Kelly, a board certified patient advocate, guides you through the chaos with sass, strategy, and empathy. As a seasoned fighter in her own chronic disease journey, she knows exactly what it feels like to go undiagnosed, be misdiagnosed, and feel abandoned by the healthcare system. With an extended hand, she takes you through the floundering years and reveals how she made it to the other side despite multiple autoimmune and connective tissue diseases (and all their fun sidekicks).
Packed with practical applications, relatable stories, and a healthy dose of humor, this book offers a roadmap to help cut the time to diagnosis and treatment, reduce healthcare anxiety, and reclaim your power.
This Book Reveals How to:
• Communicate like a pro: Help increase the chances that doctors will listen, take action, and respect your concerns.
• Reduce appointment anxiety: Get top strategies for getting the most out of every doctor visit.
• Own your health story: Track symptoms, organize records, and feel more confident managing your care.
• Find the “unicorn” providers: Identify specialists who truly understand your condition and know when it’s time to say goodbye to the ones who don’t.
• Navigate support systems: Learn how to conquer the uncomfortable business of chronically ill conversations, like dealing with unsolicited advice.
This isn’t just a book; it’s a call to arms for anyone ready to become their own best advocate in a messy healthcare system. Grab your highlighters, throw on your comfy pants, and let’s get to work!

Do NOT give up on your journey to wellness! READ THIS BOOK
What a fantastic read! She is so witty. And, her voice is very soothing. THIS book is DRIPPING with awesome. And, What an excellent resource! Not to mention, the rebuttals. I love the rebuttals she gives. I actually listened to it a second time cause I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything!
Im in the midst of my own health journey, unbeknownst to anyone else, I was planning to quit, I felt defeated, frustrated and down right disgusted with the medical community tasked with and entrusted to help me. One of my closest friends sent this to me, suggested I give it a listen. I stayed up the ENTIRE night . I could NOT put it down. I woke up today with a renewed sense of hope! I pray the author reads this, This book is LIFE CHANGING. I’m so grateful for her journey to wellness. And, forever thankful she shared it! If I could give it 5 Million stars I would.
