A good overview of getting started in the voiceover business

This books gives a good overview, but that's really all that it is. There was some good info to get people going but not much detail to fill in the blanks or referrals to where you can get the details.
This book is basically a primer of sorts and you will have to read others books or take other courses to get the additional info that you may need.

More like a add than a book.

What would have made How to Get Started in Professional Voiceover better?

More usefull content. This seemed more like a voice(123).com commerical

Would you ever listen to anything by Christopher Emerson again?

Yes. He has an impressive voice.

Any additional comments?

At first it looked very believable until I tried the commersed sites, which need a high amount of payment. Investing in them, being a newbie, you won't get any profit. Most information of this book you can find by googling them for few minutes.
