Not helpful.

This was not a helpful read for me. It would be better done in a work session presentation

Delivers on the promise implied by the title.

In a step-by-step format, Amanda and Gene Hammett explain how to prepare for, engage in, and follow up on difficult conversations in the workplace. These authors do not shy away from the discomfort that even thinking about a tough conversation can generate. Tough conversations are, by definition, tough. The advice offered in this book is practical, concise, and disarmingly compassionate. If you want to help you and your team to move forward productively, you would do well to read this book.
