There is a strong focus on building trust in yourself as well as gaining back your self confidence. The book takes you through each stage of the healing process to get you back on track

This was a very timely read for me after having left a narcissist in the workplace. You know somethings wrong but until you hear someone else describe them as a narcissist you really don't realize. This book goes through what goes through a narcissists brain and why they behave like they do but more importantly it goes through coping strategies you can instill to become stronger. Whether that's leave the environment completely (which sometimes isn't possible), how to calm yourself, how you can talk to them calmly to try and change their behavior or change your reaction and how you cope. This is a really valuable book loaded with info.
