 Colton and Parker are looking for freedom from their pasts, which is why they both came to California. That’s the place you do that in, but as they’re finding, you can’t run from your past. When it involves family, you can only go on vacation from them. The thing is, they might have run into their fated mates. Outside of his education and his professional goals, Parker has no idea what he wants to do. He doesn’t even know if he wants to stay in California. He could live anywhere in the world.

Colt is over the hill, in twink terms, and he’d loved being a twink. Now, he thinks he has a drinking problem and he’s decided to get rid of it. The good news is that taking care of the menagerie turned out to be the best replacement for booze, and an excuse to keep Parker at arm’s length. He’s going to get back in shape and return to his high school sport of rock climbing. Too bad this little nerd showed up and somehow bowled him over. How is that possible? He’s supposed to look like a linebacker. It’s all just so awkward.

Mick loves his life. Pretty much, all he does is play most of the week at what he loves, hiking, climbing, camping. He owns the business and has a great staff so he’s the one out in the field most. He’s a success and he’s always got his best friend Pepper with him while enjoying it. Colt is a nice surprise. The man’s a comparable climber. And he’s hot. He makes it difficult to ignore how good they are together, the perfect match. But there’s no way he’s falling for him. It won’t go any further, he’ll never allow it.
