I wish I knew this years ago!
This book is relevant for anyone living and working in today's fast-paced, competitive world. I fell victim to some of the burnout types identified in this book during my military career. Now, I'm a college professor teaching HR and organizational behavior courses. In my classes, I advocate for life balance and personal well-being as essential components of being an effective employee, partner, and person. This book explains how to achieve that, and I will reference and recommend it to my students. This is a transformative book that can change your life!

Lots of New Information In Here--glad I got this
I thought I knew everything about getting great sleep, but this audiobook gave me a whole new perspective. The section on the 90-minute rule was a game-changer—I've been following it, and now I’m waking up feeling so much more refreshed. That tip alone made the audiobook totally worth it!
I also found the Boundaries section super helpful. I practiced some of the scripts for saying "no," and it’s already making a big difference. I feel less anxious about turning people down, which has always been hard for me.
Work-life balance has been a big focus for me lately, even before starting this audiobook, and this gave me some real tools to improve it.
Overall, this is a really valuable book. I highly recommend it to anyone who's feeling burned out!
